I have no idea why I did this, but I named my previous C drive “Paco.” Although, just two weeks ago that hard drive died, poor Paco, mhrip. Anyway, I do not have plans to name my new drive, so it will remain C, señor.

Edit: I was talking nonsense; if I check the drive label from command prompt it says that it has no label if no name is given. My bad

I have one called "OS", one called "porn", one called "games" and one called "binboy" because I (no sh*t) found it in the bin of my appartment complex, along with a complete AMD tower case system, keyboard, monitor... Since butchered for parts.
In my linux world I go for boring stuff like /opt and /home... linux is interesting enough already :)

At a company where I used to work, the IT folks named all the network servers after Simpson's characters.

The icon on my desktop for "my computer" is named jkiomJKIOMJKIOMJKIOMJKIOMJKIOMJKIOMJKIOMJKIOMJKIOM JKIOMJKIOM.
My dog renamed it for me one night. I keep the keyboard up and away now when I leave the dog alone in the house.
I once returned hom to find he had been busy deleting my C drive. The little animation was sending the files flying into the recycle bin and Chip was looking very guilty, as he was the only one home.
His computer skills are minimal, but he has managed to answer an IM. Not only do I keep my computer on at all times, I also tend to leave my IMs open, as well, in case one of the kids pops on. Chip must have heard the bling noise when my daughter sent an IM and he stood on the keyboard for a while before pushing the enter key.
I know I can't be the only one with a little haxor for a pet.

It depends on how many drives I have or what sizes they are. On an older machine that had a single 6GB hard drive, I called it Deep Six. On another one with three drives, I named them Nenya, Vilya, and Narya (the three Elven Rings); prior to that they were called Froese, Franke, and Baumann (the three original members of the electronic band Tangerine Dream).

Which of their music do you like best? I think Rubycon and Phaedra a few of the best albums, the sequencers blow my mind.

Still 20GB of unpartitioned space, maybe I'll make a T: drive out of that..

I like everything they did up until about the mid-80s, especially Stratosfear, Encore, and Sorcerer. After Chris Franke left, it wasn't the same. Froese and his son as a band just doesn't cut it for me.

Since my HD is only 28 gigs or so, it's all C: "Local Disk."
I once asked my dad for one of the spare (at least one of which is significantly larger than my current one) HDs we have lying around the house, and he said "You've almost filled a 28 gig hard drive?" in this sort of "It's mostly porn, isn't it?" (It's not) tone of voice. I dropped the subject.
