Explain why you are here. I thought your mission was to shout from the rooftops and warn the world. Instead you visit obscure web forums. Why are you not taking your "evidence" to prosecutors or authorities between sips of your red bull. Know what I think? You are frustrated you lost a hundred bucks to someone you had faith in. You are shattered there is no common theory in the truth movement. You are desperately trying to validate your beliefs. You will fail. Better to get back to your mid terms before you eff that up too. The reason I'm back is because of the Haiti allegation - that's a new one, as well as the President Ahmadinejad thing - couldn't resist tweaking truthers a bit over that one.

ETA: 9/11 Conspiracy stuff IS hell, as far as I'm concerned. There never has been anything redeeming about it, yet it continues to fester along in the cracks and crevasses of the human conscience. That's too bad.


There is a bit of news I hadn't heard, and apparently not many have: AE911Truth have put some money towards one of their members FOIA request to NIST.

A member of Architects & Engineers For 9/11 Truth filed a FOIA request for the raw data used to generate the WTC 7 collapse simulations. NIST found two terabytes of responsive data and assessed a fee of $824.98 which includes two 1TB hard drives. (terabyte = trillion bytes) AE911Truth has agreed to donate $100.00, raise the remainder of the funds and write a check to NIST. We feel it is important to release this data to the public. It seems NIST have given a price to give 2 TB of data from their collapse simulation. This is something truthers swear wasn't happening due to a coverup. Oh well.

The forum was useful to me when I joined last summer because the Net can be a confusing place for information about 911. The vast majority of 'stuff' posted on the Net is 911 Truth crap. It really does make it look like there must be something hidden under all the ********. This forum acted for me like a central place I could go to and talk with informed people in an informal fashion. It's been good for me to see what real morons 911 Truthers are.

On the other hand, there's not much left in terms of 911 Truth activism. As the kids grow up, get married, have families and forget about their teenage angst, 911 Truth is left with an increasing density of the mentally ill. So we have the JREF 911 conspiracy subforum where teenagers and schizophrenics get a chance to shoot it out with rocket scientists and engineers. Where else can could a 17-year-old rebel get answers about 911 from a NASA researcher or a firefighter who was actually there?

The fact that the topic you've chosen to discuss has been discussed repeatedly in the past. Not searching this forum first is only barely forgivable, but you steadfastly refused to follow links to prior discussions about your topic before continuing to post.

It is not just here parky. It's in other forums also - I spent a lot of my time on the recently euthanased Dawkins Forum. Not so many trolling clowns there - the rules are were stricter.

The issue has done its dash. It is dead in the water. All we get is repetitions of little bits of half truths with no context.

Consider Tony Sz's stuff - all based on the presumption that the twin towers fell with a different mechanism than what really happened. And that is the closest material we currently have available that even looks like it could make sense. (Yes it doesn't but that's not the point.)

The reality is that 80% of the conspiracy ideas are based on, depend on, two assumed premises:
1) The twin towers were demolished; AND
2) The pentagon was hit by something other than the aircraft.

Since it is easy to show (to any intelligent and honest person) that the Towers weren't demolished and similarly that the plane did hit the pentagon there is 80% or more of their material destroyed in a single blow. (OK Two separate blows. ;) )

So all we have left is the endless repetition of vague claims made by inference/innuendo and the boring attempts to place the burden of proof on the debunkers side.

It was a lot of fun whilst it lasted. At the time I became involved - mid 2007 -- I was not clear on the Twin Towers collapse mechanism and debating it helped me to clear my thinking. By contrast with the towers the WTC 7 collapse was not self evident from the available videos and I needed assistance from the NIST investigation to work out "how". Not to work out "no demolition", that was obvious to the same intelligent and honest searcher, but to understand the structural mechanisms which caused the WTC 7 collapse because they were different to WTC1 & WTC2 in

But that need for clarity is long gone. We have only the die hards left plus those whose interest is in pulling the strings and getting people to bite. You can name the regulars here as well as I can.

So we need another topic to analyse - but I don't want a similar event to occur. So let's move on.

There are few if any people honestly questioning "demolition" of the towers OR "it wasn't the plane".

I love that one too. Among the many videos that show jet aircraft doing high-speed low passes, this is my favorite because it shows high speed and a pull-up with a 757, which gets gets the CIT idiots all worked up, until I say "But I thought high speed at low altitude is impossible..." ;)
