Not to sure if ill get a response. In brief im wondering if there are any gamers here who can program in php/mysql for a community website, who would have a few hours to spare here n there.

Its a community site for a game called Natural Selection 2 (http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2) based off a site already been in action since 2002/03 called NSPlayer (http://nsplayer.net), for Natural Selection 1.

The idea is to expand it to not only an Australian competitive site for the game but also American, Canadian, Asian and maybe European. And to have the website with regions setup with a lot of the site connected to the forums, servers and IRC, where a lot of the programming for the initial setup will be. After wards not much at all. Recognition will be given of cause for your efforts and Admin status if wanted.

I'd say good luck but you'll be hard pressed to find anyone not affiliated with your game to do this kind of work for free considering the amount of time and effort involved.

I think it means "sucker who will do thousands of dollars worth of programming for free" :cool:VASL was developed by one player, which then led to the more general platform for playing boardgames, VASSAL. They're not suckers, but revered members of the hobby.
