Last I heard a couple months ago there was some development going on for a JREF/Skeptic Dictionary sort of iPhone App.
Has anyone heard anything lately?

No, though if such an app were to become available, I'd download it immediately :)

Well, I wish they'd get a move on. If not, I've got some ideas going in my head.

Creationist Claims is a nice free iphone app that categorizes all the counter arguments to creationist 'proof'

Another good one is Skeptical Science - it's basically like Creationist Claims except it takes on global warming deniers.

I just picked up another one: CounterKnowledge (http://itunes.apple.com/app/counterknowledge/id298728634?mt=8#) - haven't played with it much, yet.

Check out Skeptic's Bingo as well. Funny idea.

How about an app where you input a paranormal claim and it asks for evidence.

Oh! That's a great idea. And to expand on it:
You input a paranormal claim, and it has a checklist for the kind of evidence, and the highest checkbox you've clicked gives the scientific result, like a quiz:
[] A few anecdotes ---> A rumor
[] A collection of anecdotes --> An urban legend
[] A plausible mechanism --> A candidate for a study
[] A positive study, older than twenty years --> A questionable theory
[] A positive study, within the last 10 years --> A candidate for further study
etc.

Great app suggestions, I've got them all. I guess maybe my idea is a little over the top?
I think an app where all of these things are centralized and inside of one app would be amazing, rather than having them in a million separate apps. Is that just me?

I haven't heard about this. Does the raw data exist somewhere? I.e., a web page with the terms and definitions? I make dictionary iPhone apps, and could whip this up pretty quickly.

As far as iPhone apps goes, the Atheist Pocket Debater is not too bad.
