This reminds of a creationist idiot on youtube named VenomFangX who got fired from all his video store jobs for proselytizing on the job. He decided to become a full-time street preacher but had to figure out how to support himself. So he posted a video plea on youtube in which he solicited donations from fellow christians. He said he only needed $500 each month (since he lived with his parents) and that anything above that amount he would donate to a local children's hospital.

Well the money poured in ($4000 the first month) and Fang decided that he like the smell of money so much that he decided to keep it all for himself. It appears that he too used the money for college. The hospital hasn't pressed charges since legal fees would probably exceed the $3500 that he promised to them. On the plus side his youtube account has been terminated.

since WAC isnt a corporation with investors, nor a tax-exempt nonprofit organization im not sure its actually illegal, i dont think there are any rules on what they can and cant do with money given to them, although id like to hear one of our resident lawyers take on it

The irony is that one of the charges that Luke leveled against Les Jamieson (http://truthaction.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3724&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0) was that Jamieson took NY Truth donations and put them into his personal account.

1. Les Jamieson with out any reason took me (Luke Rudkowski) off the main NY911Truth list serve, preventing me from emailing the 1,093 members of NY911Truth with updates and announcements related to upcoming events. Les Jamison also publicly stated that I, Luke Rudkowski, have started my own organization, which he sees as a separate entity from NY911Truth. This is false. I started the CHANGE organization in the hopes that it would represent the younger members of NY 9/11 Truth and offer them an outlet they otherwise may not have. Les Jamieson owns 100% of the NY 9/11 Truth web site and the e mail list. In fact all donations to NY911Truth go through Les Jamison's private bank account. It should be noted Les Jamieson was never voted into any positions of power. It should be noted I recently planned a big event to support show support for Rosie O'Donnell. But I wasn't able to get the word out effectively, because I found myself locked out of the e-mail account. This only hurts the movement.

2. Les Jamieson has confiscated all funds related to NY911Truth. Les Jamison routed all donations totaling over $5,800 to his private bank account, confiscated DVD duplicators, estimated at about $1,000 and the film projector ,estimated $1,000 which was bought with donations.

3. Les Jamieson has 100% control of donations that come to us in NY911truth. In the past month he has refused to support activists with flyers and DVD's for the past month (Donations always paid for flyers and DVD's) Les's actions left NY911Truth activists at Ground Zero for the past month and last 7 street actions without any supplies. The Tireless activists of NY911Truth have been taking money out their own pockets for materials to distribute. It should be noted Les has not been present at these street actions.

It should also be noted that Luke later took those accusations off the We Are Change website, although it lives on thanks to the Wayback Machine. When I interviewed him last November here in Sydney, I'm pretty sure he said he was collecting money to assist all of those workers at GZ who had health issues caused by the dust etc. It is in this video, near the start.

If he was collecting money under false pretenses, I would think that might present a legal problem for him, but as we all know, IANAL.

1) Claim the statement was a forgery

2) Claim Luke was accessing some other PaPal account but that would only make sense if he had some previously unknown internet business. But I find it had he could have run a business that pulled in that much money while he was running WAC and studying. He seems like a moron I doubt he could have made that much money working full time.

The fact they've done neither till now is telling.

They could easily clear this up by posting WAC's PayPal statements for the period in question.
