Yes, it's true! I love EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM!

Come on, guys! Let's hear all of the adulation for the women that attended TAM2! We rocked da house down! If anything, we have proven that beauty AND brains can co-exist!

Even Randi, in his closing remarks acknowledged our force! Let's keep encouraging skeptical thinking in our moms, daughters, girlfriends, female co-workers, and leaders! Have them come to TAM3!

I want to see the day when we have the equivalent of a female James Randi at the helm of a large skeptical organization. When that day comes, I will know that the tide will turn for the masses regarding critical thinking.

And, yes, I'd like to say an AMEN to that! ;)

Girl 6 is right, the skepchicks ROCK! * There were many more women at TAM2 than at TAM1, but we still need more female skeptics, so we need more role models for them. That's why I like what Julia Sweeney's doing.

Just as TAM I was naively called simply "TAM", the skepchick get together was called "the skepchick pajama party". Ahem. Should have been called "the first annual skepchick pajama party".
(One lady approached me and asked how to become a skepchick. I pointed out that a skeptic with boobs automatically qualifies)
Anyway, next year's pajama party should be bigger, louder, and rowdier. I have already written to Eddie and told him I'm volunteering our room. Unless he wants to suffer a permanent case of embarassment, I've suggested he grab the skepdudes and head to a strip club or something.
It was truly gratifying to see so many women attending TAM II. At TAM I, I think some of us felt like the lone cat in a dog pound. Too often, I've found myself being the sole female in D&D groups, math and science classes, and military workcenters. (I was one of the first women in my career field)
It was really nice to be able to kick back and shoot the....breeze with other like-minded ladies.
Girl 6, that was a terrific idea. We'll run with this one next year.

It was like meeting my sisters! I am unashamed to say that when we were being interviewed by the NY Times reporter, I choked up and got teary. The skepchicks are the heart of JREF. Guys, you were very worshipful, and that was most welcome. I never felt more sexy and happy in my life (thanks guys!)

Pajama party 2 I like the sound of it! We need to really develop the whole skepchick thing. If we let women know that attending TAM3 they will be more than welcome, and have lots of other women to hang out with, I believe more will join.

So, how about a skepchick bumper sticker???
