I saw Skeptobear with the lovely Skeptobabe.

I also just spent the eveing with another friendly Aussie (and a Canadian, but that's off topic). Byzantine Magpie, Segnosaur, and I went out to the Medieval dinner show at the Excalibur.
You Aussies are all right. If I'm ever Down Under I'll have to stop by your skeptic group.

The Aussie contingent was well-represented, despite the miserable defeat in the International Chocolate Challenge (Scharffen Berger RULES!)

Peter Bowditch's talk was well-received, and he almost managed to explain Aussie Rules football to me--a task at which many others have tried and failed.

The Aussie contingent were a lovely group of people, who must have been somewhat bemused when they were parseled out at the Outback restraunt on Friday night. They were gracious enough to allow themselves to be split up and have to put up with us odd northern hemisphere types. Skeptibear was inspirational, and if he manages to attend TAM 3, I hope to bring my Frogbert along to meet him. I do hope the Aussies are able to make another showing next year.

I SHALL be there, even if I have to swim to LA (as a destination, not altogether appealing...). And I hope to bring Mrs Zep and the Zeplette too. In fact, if TAM3 goes to New Orleans then you can almost guarantee we all will be there.
