I found this thread kinda funny, and wanted to share it:
http://forums.christianity.com/html/P847599/
The Incan pots looks like forgeries to me, but I haven't really investigated any of this "evidence" further yet.
Maybe some here have seen it before, and have the explanations ready. Maybe our bad archeology expert has some ideas. ;)
I especially find the "Science & origins" board over there to be hilarious, and it would be fun to see more skeptics over there to help with the debunking.

I work with a fundie who got all excited a few years back with that stupid Charleton Heston "documentary" about the human & dinosaur foot prints in Texas.

Needless to say, he does provide alot of entertainment.
I liked the hand print! Convincing!!:D

The evidence is out there for everyone who's willing to search for it. Two words: "Jurassic Park".

I can visualise my son's doodlings being unearthed in a few hundred years time:
"Golly, look! Proof that humans have 3 eyes!"

I have signed up and posted a reply now. Would be great if some other skeptics would join the debate, or I would sure feel lonely. :p

Great!!! :D
Also remember to check out some of the other threads on that forum. Especially that moses guy is quite the fanatic, with a gross misunderstanding of evolution, so he is in dire need to be straightened out with some facts.

Ok. I signed up over there and browsed around some of those evolution threads. Those people are all idiots. This is a representative post:
There is no such thing as neandethals or however u spell em, they are not human!!! they are apes, scientists were ashamed to tell the world that the skulls of neanderthals were really skulls of apes!!! Christ on a bike...
It almost sounds like !Rational! trolling a x-ian board.

Haha! Yes, it really sounds like our own rational troll. Same as this one:
I know evloution is a lie because Jesus told me the truth. All you have to do is pray and Jesus will tell you the truth. You don't need a PhD for Jesus to tell you which is why christrains are smarter than athiest scientists.

Posting in the S & O section of Christianity.com, can be quite weary. Especially since that Moses guy showed up. What a wierdo. It's like banging your head against a brick wall.

Its impossible for Incans to bury pots and humans down at the level of Createceous soil, its so utterly impossible...
Forgeries are impossible too, it would disprove our evidence if it was forgeries, so its obviously not!
Yeah yeah yeah, that is a miserable group of people. They believe Evilution is created to disprove God, they believe the Earth is 6000 years old when there is absolutely no single Ed damned reason to believe so (plenty Ed damned reasons to believe the Earth is 4.5 billion years old).
I like this particular refutation of evidence:
wow one site!!! pretty interesting!!! I'm looking forward to it, hahah!!!
I think this is clear evidence that the person who has made this comment has never once made an effort to pursue any outside reading.
Good work, Plindboe and Dragonrock.

Here's a genius explaining how the dinosaurs became extinct:
here is a theory iv heard and i beleive it
okay, theres this big huge type of atmosphere of moisture, like another layer,
it cleanses the air and stuff and causes people to live longer-allows them to live longer.
anywyas, when the flood happneed, it was that layer that came down, then what happened was, you know how when you get in a shower with the plastic doors, after your done its moist and hot? but yer like freezing after you get out, i think it could of been like this but more extreme causing a large amount of animals to die,(mabey a slight ice age?)
and mabey it was just they became exticnt by man killing them off lots.
This guy should write some creation science books.

There's a simple way to give creationists problems with the smashed trilobite.
-Lets remember that trilobites usually were benthonic critters. Now, any water depth beyond say, 1.8 meters would have made quite hard for anyone to step on the poor arthropod... And trilobites usually are found in deposits of deeper waters (don't ask, I don't know the average depths).
Wait, I know, it was a miracle! Or perhaps it was a antediluvian scuba diver.

If the goal is to convince people about the merits of the evolutionary theory, then it doesn't help to be condescending. I'm not saying anyone from this board has done this, but I have seen examples of condescending behavior towards the Bible thumpers. All this does is make them run back to their Bible. Basic human nature here, folks. :)

I have the same impression. The two monkeys to the left is almost a perfect description of young earthers ignoring evidence, unfortunately this group is also quite vocal so the monkey to the right doesn't really fit into the picture.

Look at those things that they claim to be "dinosaurs". Jeezus, for starters, in the first picture, this "thing" which I suppose is supposed to be a therapod has five equal length fingers. Wrong! With the exception of the very earliest (e.g. herrerasaurus, eoraptor) which have four fingers, and the tyrannnosaursids which have two, all therapods have three fingers. Furthermore, all the fingers are of diferent length, the innermost being the longest.
The teeth are not recurved, which would be harder to draw on a pot, but still, therapods don't have straight teeth, with the exception of spinosaurs. Furthermore, although the upper teeth of therapod jaws always bear the longer teeth, therapod jaws bear teeth upper and lower, with the exception of oviraptors and kin (the sceintific name of the group is unspellable, forget all about pronouncing it).
Th shape of the head is all wrong, and the arms attach in the wrong place. The animal is plantigrade, all therapods, screw it, all dinosaurs are digitagrade. Furthermore, the animal lacks nostrils. I suppose that's why they went exticnt; they couldn't breathe!
The second pot shows an animal that looks to be a rough cross between a sauropod and a stegosaur. No such animal ever existed, by the late jurassic when the earth was crawling with stegosaurs and sauropods, the saurischian and ornithischian groups had long diverged.
The animal is shown without teeth, but both sauropods and stegsaurs had dentation visiable from outside he head. Furthermore, unlike ornithopods, they both lacked lips.
Well, so much for a perfect depiction of dinosaurs.
I realize that human depictions of animals, especially prehistoric ones, are often charicatures of the animals in question, these mistakes are just plain silly. Nobody would draw lips where there are none, nor would anybody draw a completely different leg structure if they had seen the animal.
In artwork that does feature such mistakes, the artist has not got a good look at the animal. This looks to me like somebody making a drawing of a dinosaur fighting a person when they're drawing a dinosaur from memory. Jeezus, if you're gonna make a hoax, make a good one.

Absolutely, bash em here, but not there. Vent here and don't be condescending there.
I just don't bother anymore, haven't the energy. I'll cheer the others on though.:)
