Is this sort of blatant misinformation and hysteria the norm for UK gun stories?
A. the glock 18 can be fired full auto, but you won' hit anything after the first shot most likely
B. it mentions the gun can shoot 1200 rounds per second, thats if you somehow created a magicail 1200 round magazine, the magazines hold 15 rounds on average and you have to change them when they empty
C. the gun is much more dangerous in single fire mode unless its in the hands of someone trained in full auto tactics, it swtiches into full auto with a side mounted switch for use in close combat, basically, if the spec ops person runs up on someone (like 6 feet away) they use full auto or 3 shot select fire to try to put the person down quickly, you can't sit up in a clock tower with this gun and snipe people full auto
D. it shoots the least effective combat handgun round, the 9 millimeter
Maybe our UK contingent can tell me if this sort of hysteria is typical of most UK gun stories or just the sensational mirror's accounts.
