I haven't been to this site for a while. Has Randi commented? And what's everyone's opinions?

There's a thread here in the Paranormal forum. (http://www.randi.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34475) Randi has not yet commented, at least not in his weekly column, but he's been rather busy with The Amazing Meeting. I suspect we will read about it soon.
Of course, it's another fraud. I'm sure she won't agree to take the challenge.

I'm sure it will come to nothing, but for some reason she really grabbed the public interest with the "This Morning" appearance.
I'm trying to follow her story, but it appears to have died down almost instantly. I'd just like to have seen a follow up.

Welcome to JREF!
If I can opine, I did not see the interview you are referring to, however Randi did test a young Russian girl by the name of Natalia Lulova about two years ago.
If this is the same person that you are referring to, then she had no problem in passing the test when it was done the way she wanted it done.
However, she completely failed when she did the test when it was done by Randi.
You can see more details on his February 22, 2002 commentary:

I hope this helps!

Thank you Crossbow for the nice welcome.
I remember reading about that girl (if she was the one who could read things with pads over her eyes - well, sort of over her eyes as it turned out). This is a different one.
This new girl (I've forgotten her name) claims to be able to see any tumours, scars, broken bones etc. you have with her amazing "X-Ray vision".
She appeared on a daytime TV show over here in the UK and apparently performed amazingly well.
However, some other claims she made about the programme's resident doctor turned out to be rather inaccurate.
But she was quite big for a week here. I have since read on these boards that she was in the same room as some of the audience members before the show.

Oh, there was some funny business going on all right. Maybe it was being in the room with the audience before the show and maybe it was something else. But these TV shows are simply not going to show a flop. People would turn off the show immediately. It is in their interest to have her succeed, so I have no doubt that it was somehow "arranged" for her to look good. That is why TV shows are not good places to perform paranormal research. They have far too much interest in getting a positive result.
