Just out of curiosity, which political parties are you people?

Other: I register Democrat because I tend to agree with the more, but that's because to vote in a Primary in Washington you have to register to vote. (.. and then I start trashing all the mail I get - although, last election it was more Obama or Hillary and I didn't want Hillary.)

I consider myself a Social Democrat which leads me to vote Democrat more often than anything else.

I'm somewhat left of center so I tend to vote Democrat in general elections, but I'm actually a registered Republican, because I like to vote in the Republican primaries, knowing that (in Texas) whoever wins the Republican primary is likely to win the general election. And I want the best one of them.

I rate other; I am not in love with the Dems. I actively loathe the other. I live in a heavily Rethuglican area, registered Dimocrap for loyal opposition.

I'm a Dem on my father's side, even though I disagree with a lot of them, especially locally. I registered Dem when I registered to vote and haven't seen any great need to change.

Although my mother's side is firmly Republican. So that makes me halfbreed? :p

Interesting, no people actually calling themselves republicans. I can understand why with the tea-baggers and everything

Registered Repbublican.

Though that will change when I get around to it.

Gonna register independent.

I am weary of both parties. Except I dislike the Dems more.

I'm offended. Republicans are too selfish

Green Party.

I really should change my title to "thread winner" (because this is just getting ridiculous).

Democrat, becasue I have never had a chance to vote for a Republican that did not hold positions that would unconditionally disqualify him / her. And I have voted in every national election for 40 years.

That's because most people here vote for the candidate, not the party.

That's because most people here vote for the candidate, not the party.

Which is a bit silly, considering that all that person's appointments will be in-party and how the committee system works.

I'm a libertarian but not a member of the Libertarian Party.

And know, I despise the teabaggers (the yahoos, not the practitioners of the sex act), I loathe Republicans, and have nothing but contempt for nearly all conservatives.

I really dislike most Democrats as well, want nothing to do with the Socialists, and am utterly disinterested in the Royalists.

There is someone I'm sweet on, but he's not a politician.

Oh, and I marked "other" because I always run myself on a platform of socialized prostitution.

I want to start a new political party. The Pragmatist Party. It would be based on the skeptical review of issues. Here is the party platform-
Quit declaring war on everything. War on drugs? Over. At a minimum, decriminalization but hopefully legalization of everything. All drugs would be regulated and taxed and the taxes would be used to run state run rehab facilities.
Education? Education Lottery to fund public school system. The money raised MUST be used for education-paying teachers more, building better schools-not for funding anything else! Period!
Hands off of our bodies! If I want my doctor to help end my life, let him. If I want to do drugs, let me. If I want to have sex with some dude and I am also a dude, ok, you can stop me from that one cuz that's not how I roll but if you're into it then have at it, without government intervention.
Term Limits! No one person can hold any office for more than one term. The term "career politician" should be abolished from the english language. We need to get back to the idea that holding public office is a service we as individuals give to our country, not something to be looked at as a career.
Campaign Finance Reform!! I don't know how to fix this problem but I know how to make it worse-declare corporations have the same free speech rights as individuals.
No More Pork! If the federal government has a surplus of cash, return it to the people. The idea that "it's in the budget, we have to spend it" is BS.
Who's with me? Grab a pitchfork and torch and follow me!

This sounds a lot like why I call myself a Democratic Libertarian :)
