From the web site linked by Randi:

How it works

CatanDog's plate produces (or) generates electromagnetic and scale waves, without incorporating any battery, as it's not neccessary, the POWER supply is the "earthly magnetic field" and the amimal motion in it, cutting in such a way the flow lines ,and, thanks to "Lenz Law" producing "Foucault" currents of extremely small power but enough to activate the CatanDog's disc, that acts as a passive resonator...

by: Professor Jóse Luis Arrans Gil..

Ignoring the dreadful psuedoscientific technobabble, is there some law that says these people don't know basic grammar, how to spell, or even how to use a spell checker ("neccessary", "amimal")? And who on Earth is Professor Jóse Luis Arrans - a Google seach came up with nothing...

I actually spent time and read the pdf report from the vet they say shows it was scientifically tested in Spain and it worked.

1: It was not a scientific test.

2: The results only show it worked if you ignore the evidence that it did not. (Down pesky evidence!)

The part about flea infested straw being added to the "control group" partway through sent me off giggling for another caffeine laden Coke.
