"Drill here, drill now."

More bumper-sticker politics from the right.

They ditched "Drill, baby, drill" faster than you can say "Oil spill."

More than likely, but still good for a giggle.

As gaffes go, it was okay. My all time favorite is still when Reagan called Gerald Ford a Communist, when he meant to say Congressman.

But you know what Freud said about that. . .

Why don't opponents of the politicians spouting offshore drilling as somehow affecting what we pay at the pump just point out to the idiots "hey, we take the domestic oil we drill and either send it overseas for refining or put it into our reserves anyway, so how is more drilling to continue that going to change prices?"

The answer, quite simply, is that it won't. We don't have anywhere near enough to make a difference. Our oil is better saved for reserves anyway.

That is correct. The only thing standing in the way is Congress, controlled by the American people, standing needlessly in the way of drilling in many places.

The reason it's a problem with a spill in the Gulf (or offshore Alaska) is the oil flows. In the land areas of Alaska it's going nowhere, and is negligible*.

* To all but innumerate reporters who have no concept of how big land area is.

Nah.. I can separate personality from physical appearance. Bauchman is a lizard on the inside, but outside, she's kinda hot.

Because the idiots aren't smart enough to understand, so it's a waste of time to point anything out to them.

Yeah, I'd hit that.

Yeah, I'd hit that.

If the lights were low enough, the drinks cheap and strong, and perpetuation of the species were at risk,...maybe, but she wouldn't be my first choice, even among congress-critters.

I like this. I don't agree that Michele Bachmann is attractive, but at least through your offensive sexist slurs you guys are showing her the disrespect she deserves.

Yeah, if you put a paper sack over her brain.

Yeah, if you put a paper sack over her brain.

I've heard of that! you put it in a paper sack, place it on someone's porch and light fire to it and ring the doorbell!

I was thinking "hit it" was a sexual reference, guess I've been hanging around low-lifes too much again.
