Some of you probably thought that the tiltle of this thread is a joke. It isn't.

From the Minneapolis Star Tribune (http://www.startribune.com/stories/366/4352236.html):It was all for fun until the flames spread to Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, where Robertson resigned as pastor Nov. 30. He said his enlistment with the Vulcans, whom he said have an outdated reputation as a group of "womanizers and drunkards," triggered his downfall in the congregation.

Now on a paid leave of absence from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), Robertson said he is questioning his calling as a minister and his belief in organized religion for the first time in 25 years of preaching. Meanwhile, he is drawing ever closer to a group of Vulcans who he says are more Christlike than his critics at Gustavus Adolphus.

Can't say I blame him, who wouldn't be taken in by the pointy ears and "Live Long and Prosper". Everyone wants to live long and prosper!

How is it that I've lived in Minneapolis for nearly 6 years and until this year, had never heard of this King Boreas/Vulcan stuff? Is this what cabin fever does to city people who can't readily snowmobile or ice fish?
