Fact of Nature: Men Willing to Die for Sex

Men evolved willing to risk death for sex, partly explaining why men die faster than women in virtually every country worldwide.

Reproductively speaking, men have more to gain, and less to lose, from risk-taking behavior than women, researchers have long said. Essentially, it's okay if the guy dies, because at least once he's done the initial deed, there a chance his offspring will survive.

If the idea here is that the 19 hijackers did what they did for sex, how does that explain Jarrah, who by all accounts was involved in a normal, modern relationship (modern by our standards, as opposed to fundamental Islam)?

1. In relation to the OP, I wasn't suggesting that it was THE ONLY motivator for any or all of them, but that it is a potentially compelling factor for any man, and hence was likely a factor for some or many of the hijackers.

2. My comment, if you honestly read it, was more of a comment about the content of religions as likely placed there by leaders who wished to keep the flock coming to the mosque..church...synagogue.
