I don't travel anywhere without my guitar -- electric, with a gizmo so I can play through headphones without an amp. But thinking about this got me thinking about what use I might have for it at TAM if the stories of all night debauchery and such are true. Has there been anything along the lines of a loose jam at previous TAMs? Is there any interest? Is there even time for such a thing in the schedule? More than just noodling around before hitting the sack, I could be influenced to bring a different instrument (I also play bass) if there's the need for it.

There were a few people playing music some nights on TAA5 earlier this year. It was generally well-received.

But you've got nearly a month to take cowbell lessons!

I think they should give all attendees cowbells with the JREF logo stenciled on the side. It will be the best idea since the laser pointers.

Hmmm... I have a Roland Micro Cube I could lug over in my baggage, and perhaps I could be convinced to bring one of my cheap guitars. Harmonica's too. Are we talking blues? All of my other amps are too big to even consider bringing. Hmmmm....
