View Full Version : Where To Watch The World Cup At TAM 8?

I can watch semi #1 at home. I get to Vegas around 9:00 am on Wed the 7th, with semi #2 starting at 11:30 local time (I think).

The final, of course, is on Sunday, again at 11:30 local time.

I'm going to check the hotel option first. I'm sure the sports book will have it on, but will the have sound? The Del Mar has TV's, but they're on the smallish side.

I'm wondering if any of the casinos are having watch parties?

Good thread--I was wondering the exact same thing! I fact, I initially couldn't decide if I should miss this year's TAM because of the conflict with the World Cup. TAM won, but I am still going to watch the final.

Plus the vuvuzelas are in Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound. It's like being in the stadium. ;)

Now that Germany has properly mullered Argentina, I am for sure rushing back from the skydiving to watch the semi-final somewhere in the hotel (kick-off 11:30am Wednesday) if possible.

Sorry, but that means I will miss the volunteer lunch...

I'll be watching with you. We'll watch at the Del Mar lounge if there is no better choice.

I to will miss the volunteer lunch, but there is a deli right next to the Del Mar lounge.

I will still make my volunteer shift at 1:30. Unless it goes to extra time. Then I'll have a tough decision to make. :)
