Endorcements: Do they influence anyone?

I have never been swayed by an endorcement. Whether it be from the paper, church, union, whoever. In fact Im kinda offended by the whole thing. These people have the gall to tell me who to vote for!

Are there are groups whos endorcements carry weight with you? And why?

I always listen to the opinions of famous actors and other celebraties. After all, if they're famous, they must know more than me, right?

I've never been a union member so don't know how those play out, but I always find the paper endorsements laughable. Truly wonder why they bother to write and print them - do they honestly believe anyone is being swayed?
