Rod had an interesting anecdote about his encounter with the JWs.
Mine is when they woke me up one Sunday morning at the crack of noon.
I opened the door in my ratty bathrobe, saw who they were by their costume and shouted, "ARE YOU JEHOVA'S WITNESSES?"
"Yes, sir, and we wou.."
"WELL I'M F*CK!NG JEHOVA, AND I WANT YOU TO F*** OFF".
The ficks have never been back.

This thread caused me to realize I haven't seen any JW's at my door for some years now. The last time was when I told one I was about to close the door very firmly and he should move his foot unless he had a high tolerance for pain.

I've also found that Seventh Day Adventists don't appreciate nudity, or maybe they are just picky, esthetically.

Last year they had to tackle the very steep road, then the even steeper driveway and finally 22 steps to the front door. So we didn't see many JWs.

Then we moved.....from the side of the mountain to the valley below.

And, goddamn, we still haven't seen any JWs, just door to door bloody salesman.

I never get any fun.
