It's been awhile since I have been here can someone tell me why the jerf team is trying to contact me?

It looks like your userid was accidently deleted as part of some forum mixup - It happened to Interesting Ian, too. Maybe that's why?

I would think that you would want to be contacting JREF for another go at the million. Figured out what went wrong with the first attempt yet?

I can think of two reasons.

1) To tell you your forum name was going to disappear if you didn't use it.

2) To ask you if you plan to repeat your dowsing test. It's been two years since your first attempt and we are all curious to see what improvements you have made to your technique.

No, I do not why the JREF team is trying to contact you since I am not privy to such data.

However, if you have such a question I would think that that it would be more efficient to contact a Moderator (there are several) as opposed to starting a Thread on the subject.
