View Full Version : To CT Theorists: Why would "they" bother?

If the Bush administration/NWO/Gnomes of Cleveland/insert object of conspiracy theory here wanted to take over the world/start a war/ gain control of the ME oil supply/insert paranoid delusional objective here, why would they employ an obviously complicated, cost inefficient, labor intensive, potentialy disastrous method for achieving their aims?
There are certainly easier, safer, less costly methods that would achieve the same end, but would have an almost negligible chance of discovery, or even suspicion?
I can understand distrust of the government, even a certain cynicism regarding power elites, but I have great difficulty believeing they are so stupid as disregard the likelyhood of discovery when so many other methods would be available?

You're posing this question as if you believe CTer's operate with logic.

What's wrong with just drawing baseless conclusions? :con2:

I put up a post with a question that is along the same vein as yours...although I wonder what the average CTer hopes to accomplish, rather than why they feel the "spectacle" was necessary:

Unfortunately, not a single truther bothered to respond.
I get the feeling that a CTer doesn't know how to apply their fantasy to reality...but out of pure inflexibility...they cannot concede to the facts because they just plain don't want to believe that their version is incorrect.

Especially since the NWO/Jews/Masons/Illuminati already control the world.
