I don't want to turn this into a racial debate, I'm just looking to see if any truthers oppose the mosque/community center that is proposed to be near GZ?

"racial"?There are a lot of dimbulbs who think that Islam is just a religion of black and brown peoples.

Right, it just looked a little like sabretooth47 (http://forums.randi.org/member.php?u=42412) might be acting like one of 'em.

Not sure why you linked to my member page...but I'm guessing you meant to point out some of my rather "racial" statements I made in this thread:

http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=183113

You may call me what you wish...racist, bigoted, ignorant...I explain myself as clearly as possible in the thread as to why I feel the way I do. That thread turned into more of a debate about race than what that OP was supposed to address.

I started this OP and made the statment to leave race/religion/pride etc. out of it to avoid falling into another 10-15 page thread about why people are ignorant of cultures they don't understand.

Plain and simple - Are Truthers For or Against a Mosque at/near GZ?

9-11 Truther: "if Muslims did 9-11......then any patriotic American would oppose a Mosque at Ground Zero".

I meant to only copy your name from your post. The link wasn't intentional.

Ah.
Not being privy to that other thread, or to the fact that you may have been referring to it, it simply looked like you were treating "Muslim" as if it were a race.

I wonder what Kevin Barrett(sp?) thinks about it...

I wonder what Kevin Barrett(sp?) thinks about it...

I was compelled to find out, and...
Kevin Barrett wants to build a taxpayer funded mega-mosque at ground zero (http://edwardrynearson.wordpress.com/2010/08/09/mike-pintek-kevin-barret/)
Mp3 interview there, plus a "Letter to Obama".

Maybe I'm mis-using the word "racial". I was just trying to avoid making this a debate about religion or middle-eastern people in general.

What I want to see is some sense of logic from the truther crowd.

Would they oppose a mosque? For what reasons?
Would they approve a mosque? For what reasons?

For example: If a truther approves of a mosque based on a belief that Muslim Extremists did not orchestrate 9/11, would they publicly say so?

"The Donald" seems to want to cure all of the "issues".

"I am making this offer as a resident of New York and citizen of the United States, not because I think the location is a spectacular one (because it is not), but because it will end a very serious, inflammatory, and highly divisive situation that is destined, in my opinion, to only get worse," the letter said.

Did you catch that suggestion that the idiot Terry Jones might back down from his stupidity because the mosque might not get built?

This gets whackier every time I click a link to it.
