In Australian Parliament, the front-benchers have a game they like to call, "back-bencher trap-shooting". That's where they force a back-bencher to smear a prominent politician or public figure, and watch what kind of flack they get shot down with.

Best Example of Back-Bencher Trap-Shooting I've Seen since the Last One. (http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/s1047650.htm)

Hey! Alby Schulz is the member for my parents' electorate! They think he's a dolt too. Word is that he has trouble moving out of his own way, which is why he got sidelined into politics instead of farming for a living. He got elected because it is a lay-down misere for the Lib/Nats there, and it was his turn in the barrel.
