102 Minutes That Changed America was shown again on the History Channel tonight. If you missed it you can watch the You Tube version on my blog (link below).

102 Minutes That Changed America (http://www.history.com/interactives/witness-to-911) is a 102-minute American television special documentary film that was produced by the History channel and premiered commercial-free on September 11, 2008, marking the seventh anniversary of the 2001 attacks. The film depicts, in virtually real time, the New York-based events of the attacks primarily using raw video footage from mostly amateur citizen journalists.

The 9/11 Hotel about the Marriott World Trade Center (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marriott_World_Trade_Center) that was destroyed on 9/11 was also shown again tonight.

I hadn't seen the one about the Marriott before, nor did I know it was damaged in the 1993 attack, which led to a staircase being reinforced. Talk about bizarre circumstances - imagine surviving two huge buildings fall on you!

Yes this was a good show.

"inside 9/11" was also on National Geographic Channel. It is 4 hours long (4 parts) and covers things WELL right from 1993 WTC up to post 9/11. Highly recommended.

one of the best docs out there, although for gits and shiggles I like to watch the BBC one that has Gage, DRG, and Avery, sitting around a table JAQing off.

I believe that was actually the National Geographic 9/11 Science and Conspiracy program.

I watched it all the way through this time.
What is interesting is the number of witnesses -at the time- on the streets
where the snap-shot videos were made who described however inaccurately the liveries of the planes, that they observed -planes- flying into the towers. Within minutes of the events.
And seeing all those dead men walking towards their deaths, with their fire gear and equipment... That is heartwrenching still.
No mosque, not there, not ever.
