Trying to appear respectable if you buy into his Linked-In profile (http://www.linkedin.com/in/iamdylanavery). Either not getting any nibbles or he's not inclined to blab about who's hiring him.

Gotta like his Popeye pose for his avatar though. :D

Did you ever see the video of him on the Bike Ride for truth?

Direct quote:

"spreading the truth, biatches."

Absolutely hilarious.

Gotta give 'im points for honesty. According to himself,

Dylan Avery’s Specialties:

Turning nothing into something.

I believe that's the first bit o' truth that I've heard out of 'im. :D

I notice no mention of The Avery Foundation in his profile. I guess once he finished using the sick and dying first responders to pimp his movies, he had no further use for them.

Also from that site:

Mr. Dylan Avery of San Diego, California and Mr. Korey Rowe, of Oneonta, New York (through their company, Collective Minds Media Company, and under the guidance Mr. Patrick Kwiatkowski and Mr. Joel Bachar of Microcinema International), have an outstanding debt, which they refuse to pay, with The Frankfurt Group in Fort Worth, Texas (among many other people) - until this debt is paid, this page will remain - we apologize for the inconvenience and do hope that these in-house disputes are resolved promptly.
As an aside, Mr. Dylan Avery and Mr. Korey Rowe had a genuine opportunity to obtain a "founder's donation" in excess of $200,000 but instead decided their personal vendetta was far more important than assisting the dying first-responders of 9/11.

There is also a dotcom:

http://theaveryfoundation.com/

The First Responders were the first on-scene as soon as the attacks took place and immediately after the Trade Center buildings fell and they worked tirelessly from sunrise to sunset, day in and day out, looking for survivors and helping to begin the process of rebuilding Lower Manhattan. It is because of their selfless efforts during those long days that they are now sick and dying due to respiratory illnesses caused by exposure to airborne particulates at Ground Zero.

Riiight, as if that douche bag cares one bit about the first responders.

New Day (2009)

Robert and Alison Logan were married less than a year when Alison boarded American Airlines Flight 77 on the morning of September 11th, 2001. Later that morning, Robert watched in horror as televised news reports told him that Alison's fight had been hijacked and crashed into the Pentagon. Eight years later, Robert has pulled his life back together and relocated to the Midwest. Still haunted by the memory of Alison, he has married Rachel, a clinical psychiatrist, and they share an idyllic life with Rachel's daughter Carly. The peaceful calm of Robert and Rachel's life is torn apart when a research project Rachel is working on includes a brain damaged patient at a secure hospital who bears a striking resemblance to Alison. Both Robert and Rachel embark on their own personal investigations, for separate reasons, to discover the truth about the woman in the hospital. Their inquiries attract the attention of the ruthless Agent Ross, who will stop at nothing to keep the identity of the woman in the hospital a secret. Written by L'oiseau Blanc Films

The "dot com" version is the real one according to Microcinema, the distributor of Loose Change IX: Electric Boogaloo. I had been writing the executive over there, who was also the chaiman of the "foundation" every couple of months, but I'm giving up. He kept saying "soon" for when they would be able to accept donations.

The last I heard from Dylan was when I debated him on Rob Breakenridge's show last year. I know he's been sued by the recording studio where the sound for LCAAC was mixed, and by the executive producer as well.

Hey Brainster,

Did you get the impression that Matt was maybe a little sheepish about his flirtation with Mr. Avery's ... ideas? The guy at Microcinema I was emailing seemed quite confident and not at all bashful about discussing Loose Change. That said, his assertions that the charity would be launched "mañana" got pretty old.

He said he kinda bought into it at first, but then saw through the BS. It was also pretty much a financial transaction for him. On that score, he's definitely unhappy with Dylan and Korey. Of course, that puts him in the same category as everybody else who invested in the various Loose Change films--see Phil Jayhan and Alex Jones for two other examples.

This movie exists in the same way that the 9/11 "truth" movement exists: as an internet-only phenomenon. There is one placeholder ID (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1740088/) for a 14 minute documentary called Buzzkill on imdb; otherwise, nada.

Yeah, it's not a good choice. Nor is including the reference to the "9/11 Truth Movement," but I guess it's all he's got at this point.

It made me feel bad when I saw the other LinkedIn profiles with the name "Dylan Avery." Those guys can't be happy about what google does with their name.

The movie must be worse than the trailers suggest, even though the twoofers voted it up to a 6.8 rating, none of them can bring themselves to write ANY kind of user review.
dwylan obviously isn't a box office star either.

Box Office
Budget:$200,000 (estimated)
Opening Weekend:$3,500 (USA) (12 September 2009) (1 Screen)

njism is right, he will have to move back into moms basement underneath the trailerhome.

when he is as comfortable as when he lived in his basement apartment in washington d.c. he can work on his next blockbuster
'promiscuos pennies' or will it be
'loose change: extremely boring edition'

hhmm well we all know how stupid he is, probably another edition of loose change.

perhaps he will be overwhelmed by truth and reality and call it:

'Loose Change:Chasing The Dragon' lol.
