I took my seven year old son to Darwin's home today. He seemed really interested, especially in the Beagle journey, and the fossils. It was quite something, being in the same room that the Origin of Species was written. He truly was an amazing man.
I hope this sparks something in my son's mind, well as I speak he is attempting to dig a fossil out of something, and wants to be a geologist! He also goes to a Church of England primary school (same one as I went to and I turned out atheist) and haven't heard whether they teach evolution yet.
Has anyone else been there?
