SkeptiCamp arrives at the Big Apple, once again! Come, share that apple of knowledge with us!
The web site for SkeptiCamp NYC 2010 is now up. Registration is coming soon!
http://www.skepticampnyc.org/
It is taking place December 4th, 2010
From 10:00 AM to about 6:00 PM or so. (subject to adjustments)
At Shetler Studios: 244 W 54th St., New York, NY
It's like a science conference, except that the content is provided by the attendees themselves! Anyone who can be in the New York City area, at the given date and time is invited to join us and... perhaps even present something for discussion!

This should be fun, last year was great. Just hope the opera singers are not around ;)

This year we will be in the Penthouse rooms, which seems to offer better noise insulation.
(For those who don't know: Last year, opera rehersals from another room in the building were heard through some of the sessions, to the annoyance of a few, and the delight of some.)

I'm wanting to get up there to see Todd Robbin's new play, opening in October, I think. If it's still playing, maybe I'll come up. I also have 2 free passes to Monday Night Magic I need to use.

Yay, I can't wait, last year was fun and I expect this year will be too.
Hey, do you need set up help? I never got an answer to my email offer of assistance. I can be there early if you need me.

I suppose if it's not too much trouble, you can stop in early and help us set up. I don't think think there will be much to do. But, it's nice to have an extra person in case I am wrong. (And, I could be very wrong.)

It did indeed, the speakers were great, there were good discussions, the singer was awesome and a good time was had by all. I hope the search for a not so crowded bar succeeded with many beverages and more good conversation for all.
