boy, do you have to be a moron to donate $1 to this guy.
what are the costs of all his supplies? are they buying cheap stuff...or nice sexy furniture?
what are the salaries of his new "staff"?
how much of this money goes directly to AJ? what salary increases does he give himself yearly?

The meter at the site has been at 19,000 for about a week now, I don't know what it is supposed to represent. Alex was saying that he might do a 24 hour marathon show on the donation date, I think he would be even more fun to listen at around hour 21.

As if we needed any more proof about the truth of PT Barnum's statement about the high birth rate of the easily gullible.

In re:Alex, I think he is needing some money....This guy is amazingly bad, and will not answer questions when confronted directly on C2C...
My main objection is his knowing secrets and if the stuff is true, they should have silenced him years ago....When I was a kid in Texas in the 50's, I heard the same stories on late night AM radio, maybe they need some new material as well as money...

Its the old paradox
If someone claims he had highly important secrets - then one must ask why he allowed to walk around
This would mean that only those who are very secretively might have real secrets while the open ones are fakes or crazy

That's kinda pathetic. A bunch of internet reviewers raised a little over 26,000 in seven hours. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/That_Guy_with_the_Glasses#TGWTG_Charity_Donation_D rive) I guess people who believe da twoof aren't as generous as people who like funny reviews of old games and films.

I can easily explain this.
During the Ron Paul campaign, Alex launched a "money bomb" PR campaign and encouraged his listeners to donate on a specific day, to illustrate their level of influence. It was surprisingly successful, and combined with other Ron Paul grass roots efforts to raise a great deal of money in a short order of time.
Now that the audience has forgotten all about Ron Paul, Alex has decided to skip the whole "actually change something" angle, and has elected to (seemingly) pocket the money directly instead.
Of course, this is another election year, so it begs the question- why not raise money for a specific candidate again? As a matter of fact, Rand Paul is running for Congress right now, so you would think Alex would be tossing his weight behind him.
Perhaps Rand is NWO. Or perhaps he just asked Alex nicely to leave him alone. Who can say?
Alex Jones is the lowest order of pond scum, and his supporters far more gullible than the Fox News viewers they mock so endlessly.

I'm going to disagree with this claim. I maintain that the folks who charge money to pretend to talk the dead are worse. People's judgment's are clouded by grief, so preying on them is worse than preying on folks who surf the internet.

For a moment there I thought you were going to disagree with Zaphod that the Infowars crowd is even more stupid then the FOX News crowd.
But you went for the pond scum bit.:D

No, no, no. The Fox crowd and A. Jones may both talk about Kenyan births, but the Fox crowd is never going to say, "You know what this country really needs? A polio outbreak."

if you call raising 250,000 in 3 days when he was expecting 2 million successful...

I don't know about you, but if I asked complete strangers to send me $2,000,000 in exchange for absolutely nothing, then I would consider $250,000 of free money a complete success.
Of course, professional politicians have larger appetites and really like those seven-digit donations.

False. Combined, we raised over 6 million in a 24 hour period (http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/2007-12-17-ronpaul-fundraising_N.htm).
How much of that came from Jones' "money bomb" directly? I have no idea, and would guess less than 1%.
I'm going to disagree with this claim. I maintain that the folks who charge money to pretend to talk the dead are worse.
I could argue Jones claims to "talk to the dead", in that he has convinced himself he is the only authoritative voice regarding the opinions of our founding fathers, but that would be splitting hairs.
The 9th level of hell will remain the sole domain of the "psychics" and John Edwards of the world. The infowarriors can enjoy the 8th level, along with Rupert Murdoch and his cronies at Newscorp.
EDIT: I think my poor wording in my above post was misunderstood; I meant to say the entire combined fundraising effort was quite successful- Jones piggybacked that, and convinced himself he was largely responsible. His subsequent "money bombs" to himself disproved this theory.

I checked the moneybomb site and the donations look pretty nice, it's not going to reach 500,000 but its at 250,000 now. This is great for me, as Alex Jones Shill Brigade generals get 10% of the total. This is the most memorable time in my life, I don't have to worry about putting gas in my car anymore. I never thought this day would happen.
