There is a quote from, I believe, Richard Dawkins that I have been trying desperately to remember.

It goes something along the lines of "only in religion does splitting hairs split religion", of course, it was more literary pleasing then how I phrased it, hence why I am chasing after the original quote.

If someone does know could they please post the quote and also maybe the link (I remember hearing him say it on Youtube somewhere.

Thanks,
OhMan.

"Splitting Christendom by splitting hairs - such has ever been the way of theology. Do we have one God in three parts, or three Gods in one?"

This is the only quote I can immediately find which is found in "The God Delusion".

That wasn't Dawkins, it was this guy (http://debate.atheist.net/showpost.php?p=70207&postcount=12).

(I'll have to check out that forum.)

What? You just quoted me asking the same question on a separate forum. I'm fairly sure Mactonite got it right. Thanks Mactonite!

Also lol you stalker, how did you find that? That's the forum I spend most my atheist-time in.
