I don't know how many of you are as fed up with corporate American lingo as I am. But, if you are, I strongly recommend that you check this out;

This is Deloitte and Touche's free "Bullfighter" software, designed to stop bull in it's tracks.
If this link has been posted before, I apologize. I couldn't locate where it might have been. If not, I sincerely hope you enjoy this as much as I did...
(Also: my apologies if the link doesn't work. Just copy the address into your browser if it doesn't...)

Interesting, but "Deloitte and Touche" says corporate America to me.
If you don't like corporate America (whatever that means), Deloitte and Touche won't save you. They must necessarily be the enemy along with the rest.
Deloitte and Touche are primarily stockbrokers, no?

Did you check out the link, though and check out the "Bullfighter" software? That was the point of my post......

I looked at the link, though I didn't follow all link-links. If I were a sysadmin I might be interested, but not for my home computer.

:) A grammar check add-in where using the the word 'global' is bad, but 'leverage' five times worse. ('Paradigm' probably goes off the chart.) I like it, I'm on their side.
Most of this 'jargon battle' is internal. Communications that the outside world sees from a company almost always pass through staff who are very good at writing. It is the inside memos and communications that most benefit from clear and concise wording.
Yeah, D&T is a big auditing company to corporate America, very community oriented though. Nice internal culture considering they are mostly bean counters. :D They had a corporate seminar in Phoenix recently where one day was spent in community service. They see service as fundamental to building leadership qualities.
PS: Have your Microsoft drivers updated before loading, they mention an Office dictionary corruption problem related to the MDAC not being up to date.
