Next year's Northeast Conference on Science and Skepticism will take place on April 9-10, 2011 in New York City. This will be our third annual conference, and it will bigger and better in every way -- with a larger venue, more speakers, and more events!

The conference will be expanding to two days of speaker presentations and panel discussions (Saturday and Sunday), with additional events and social gatherings taking place on Friday and Saturday evenings.

We're also thrilled to announce that our keynote speaker will be none other than the Bad Astronomer himself, Phil Plait! Dr. Plait will head up a stellar lineup of speakers and panelists, featuring both new faces and returning favorites (full list to be released shortly).

NECSS will be the first major skeptical conference of 2011, and it's not to be missed! We will once again be offering NYC Skeptics members special discounts on registration, so if you haven't yet joined NYC Skeptics (http://nycskeptics.org/join/) please do so today!

For the latest news and updates, stay tuned to www.necsscon.org (http://forums.randi.org/www.necsscon.org), our facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/necss), and our twitter feed (http://twitter.com/necss) (@NECSS).

NECSS is a joint presentation of the New England Skeptical Society and New York City Skeptics.

Ooo! I see it's yearning to become TAM-sized! Excellent.

In there any word on where it will be held? I could probably make it to this one, and would like to start checking for hotel deals if possible. I'd hate to get stuck some place way far away from the event!

As long as you are somewhere in NYC, it does not matter, subways will get you everywhere.

Wouldn't that be an interstellar lineup? :)
