DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Liz Book believes exposed breasts are a part of motorcycle culture, so the Volusia County mother plans to lead a protest of topless women on the last day of Bike Week.
Book hopes to lead 1,000 "top-free" women and men along a half-mile of Main Street at noon Sunday.
This is America right? Land of the free?

Yeah. I don't know who'd have a problem with it, other than prudes and . . . well, I think that's it. Prudes.

Why don't they have a problem with men going topless?

Tony;
Thanks for the article. Now, I'm curious. I've put a poll on E&S if anyone wants to vote...
Personally, I say good luck to her!

At least the people are forewarned of the event, so parents will know to keep the kids away.
I see Liz Book is a mother. I wonder if she will have her kids there. They must be proud.
It will be a great photo event, I'm sure. I'm not exactly sure what the whole point of it is or what is hoped to be accomplished.

So let us know if they are worth seeing.
A lady in the Vancouver area won a court case to go topless. Unfortunatley, they are nor worth seeing.

Perhaps Mrs. Shemp and I would like to participate in this glorious event. If we do, we'll be sure to post pics.

I don't think I've ever, in my entire life, seen a woman on a Harley that wasn't at least 50 pounds over weight. Seriously.

I heard it joked by a lady sympathetic to the idea that it was too bad they got the ruling in a location that had weather that made the victory completely impractical.

well, if a woman wants to go topless fine. But then she has to listen to comments, and people will point. Same if a guy goes bottomless, people are going to judge.
I remember the topless sunbathers along the Seine in Paris. After seeing just a few surgery scars and stretch marks, guys are pretty much trying to avoid looking at them.

Q: Why do biker women wear bras?
A: So their breasts won't get caught in the spokes.

From the article in the Opening Post:
City officials and police are taking a wait-and-see approach, in part because the city's ordinance allows nudity when it is part of a political protest.

1) I think most of them would.
2) Because the human body is SHAMEFUL! and that's why God invented clothes.
I don't know, man. Trying to figure out what prudes think is like trying to figure out what Scientologists think. Totally alien thought processes.

I was at the 50 year Sturgis rally. Oh man, 50 years of biker chicks? It was hard to tell if they went topless because of the neck rolls.

What possible harm can come to children who see bare breasts?
Wouldn't the reaction of hiding body parts from children make them even more curious? It's this prudish atitude that is the reason why young American males go crazy at spring break, chanting for young ladies to expose themselves. I think labelling body parts as bad or forbidden causes a great deal more harm.

Probably no harm to children. They probably only feel that they are harmed, if they are brainwashed into thinking they have been harmed.
I see cultures on TV all the time where everyone walks around naked, and no one seems to care.
Nudist all walk around naked, and these seem to be about a harmless a group as you can find.
I remember O'Reilly tried to make a big deal about nudist youth summer camps, and tried to make this into evil. Something that has been going on for years without any negative consequences.
I now sincerely believe that the most harm is cause by the folks who are continually telling us that we are being harmed, and what we are being harmed by.
