Roe Conn on WLS radio in Chicago is talking about 'gay marriage' right now. He has just averred his atheism. I've never heard an American talk show host do this before.

He also says he doesn't feel like seeing a picture of two old geezers playing tonsil hockey. :D

Just a local talk show guy that I'm listening to right now. Presumably there are other Chicagoans here who know, or folks from other parts of the USA where he has worked.

As I am typing this, he is doing a gay bit in a Rush Limbaugh voice, which is a scream.

I believe Tom Leykis admitted it back when he was in Boston.

Roe has just denied (to a caller) that he and Gary are an 'item', but they will be a team on the radio again.

Leykis has (had?) been open about his atheism since the 80s. However, I've only heard his show maybe three times in the last ten years, I don't know what his current state of mind is.

Roe has been on the air on WLS for over 10 years now. WLS is one of chicago's oldest stations. Among their claim to fame was the sponsorship of a lot of Beatles events when they first came over. Larry Lujack was a pretty famous WLS dj in the 70s.

It's been talk radio for a while now. Roe used to have the 9 - 11 am slot, or so. Then during the OJ case, he got pretty famous with a nationally syndicated OJ update show ever day.

He is now on with Gary Meyer from 2 - 6 in the afternoon. They are for the most part, not all too serious about anything.
