Even though in the Old Testament it specifically states not to drink blood? I believe it's in the Levitical food laws.
Blood ... isn't kosher. It's as trayf as it comes.
Here's a very simple flaw in your argument, one you should grasp because it is quite fundamental to your Bible: the Jews were around for several thousand years before Christians.
