The "colosal", "historical" snowstorm is on the way to bury us with up to two-feet of snow on Wednesday. Jamy Ian Swiss in "Heavy Mental" show is cancelled. :(

Well, in a few years we'll all grow accostumed to these new weather patterns, and then nothing will be cancelled because of a mere "colosal snowstorm" ever again.

We'll look back on this day and laugh about how silly we were for cancelling such a great show, for just a few feet of snow, back then.

I'm already looking back and I want credit for all the things that continued to go on that I went to that would have been cancelled these days! I got gypped of about 3 months of snow days!

Jamy graciously agreed to come up a day early to give a lecture/demonstration to my science class today at 1:00 pm. I got the announcement at 12:30 that the school is closing at 1:00 pm for the day!:(:mad::rolleyes:

I bribed enough stuents with extra credits and went ahead with the lecture/demonstration anyway. Jamy was awesome! Afterwards, we went to a local restaurant for beer and something to eat. Those of you who brave the weather to come see Jamy, thank you! Those of you who missed the great talk and free beer, :p
