I thought I head somthing that reservists can only be called into full duty for a max of one year but many are being used for longer periods. War has not been declared in Iraq so arent there certain limits to how the pres can used these guys?
Any reservists out there in the know??

Two years is the maximum, not one. And it's not two years total; it's two years per operation. For instance, I'm mobilized under Operation Enduring Freedom. They can use up my two years under this Operation, then declare an emergency in Korea, call it Operation No-Don't-Go-There, and I would be eligible for two years under that Operation.
The two years can also be broken up. They can send us to Iraq for one year, send us home for a few months, then back again for the second.
But it is two years total mobilization time, not two years boots-on-the-ground (meaning actual time in a combat zone). Time ramping up at mobilization stations like Fort Bragg and in transit like in Kuwait, and time demobilizing back at Fort Bragg all count toward the two years.
