Yesterday a suicide bomber blew up a bus full of people in Haifa. Some others:
4 Aug, 2002, 9 killed and 50 wounded on bus travelling from Haifa to Safed
10 April, 2002, 8 killed, 22 injured in suicide attack on bus from Haifa to Jerusalem
31 March, 2002, 15 killed, more than 40 wounded in restaurant blast
9 Dec, 2001 Bomber explodes powerful bomb near bus stop at Checkpoint Junction
2 Dec, 2001: 15 killed, 40 injured after suicide bus blast
Haifa has a high percentage of Israeli Arabs. It's a progressive place where Jews and Arabs engage in cooperative enterprises. If a bomber wished to punish the "Zionists," there might be better places to target.
So what's up with that?

Haifa has a high percentage of Israeli Arabs Maybe this is just an easier place to set bombs because it is a mixed community - the bomb carrier doesn't stand out among the citizens. Why did Terry McVey bomb Ok City instead of DC?

It is Tim McVeigh and not Terry McVeigh. Terry Nichols was convicted of assisting Tim McVeigh with the OKC bombing.
Tim McVeigh selected the OKC Federal Building because that is where the personnel who acted against WACO were headquartered. McVeigh wanted to dispense his version of justice upon those that burned the church at WACO to the ground so he drove his truck bomb to them.
You can read about it in the OKC Bombing Final Report by the OKC Commission.

I say we drop a bomb on Mecca and get it over with.

:D ...and Sundog thinks I'm the biggest right wing war monger on the forum! :D
Tell ya what Richard...we'll play the hypocrisy game like they're doing over in the "torture" thread. I'll morally criticize you for your comment while making no meaningful difference in the reality of what you intend to do. (After you've done it I'll secretly cheer over your results in Mecca...while remaining overtly morally pure....one of the "good" guys...and condemn you as an outlaw)
My new sig line is relevant to this:
In 1678, the French writer Francois da la Rochefoucauld said that "Hypocrisy is the homage that vice renders to virtue."
So true!

QUOTATION: Hypocrisy ... is only bad when it is improperly used.

If I were a suicide bomber intent on killing Jews for their crimes against Arabs, I'd try a little harder to set myself off in a place where I'd be unlikely to kill Arabs. A bus in Haifa wouldn't be my first choice.
As the last significant act of my life, I'd take the time necessary to do the job right. In another neighborhood with a higher percentage of Jews, maybe I'd stand out a bit. But with a neat haircut, a clean shave, the look of an engineering student, plus a couple of months of practice runs riding the bus I'd eventually blow, I probably would be able to blend in ok.
The fact that Haifa is often a target implies to me that Hamas doesn't much care for the Arabs around those parts, in addition to the Jews.

Also, recall a terrorist attack from a few months ago, where the vast majority of casulties were actually foreign workers, who tended to congragate at a certain old bus terminal. (They weren't even Jewish or muslim!)
