It sure seems like they're not watching the same game as everyone else:

FAIRBANKS, Alaska -- A retired Jesuit official has written a letter of apology for remarks suggesting a priest's alleged abuse of native Alaskan boys wouldn't have much effect because their culture was "fairly loose" on sexual matters.


Can we assume that the retired Jesuit official gave up after waiting years for the native Alaskan community elders and trend setters to issue an apology for their culture and for the fact that it is "fairly loose" on sexual matters?

"Effect"= effect on actual individual human beings or just hypothetical effect on the culture?
