SARASOTA, Fla. -- Inmates from time to time get caught using a natural body cavity to smuggle items into jail, but what happened recently is a new mark.

As the Sarasota Herald Tribune reported, 33-year-old Neil Lansing was sentenced to jail on drug charges and was going through a routine strip search when jail officials noticed something sticking out of his rear end.

Upon removing the condom, they discovered many more items: 17 blue pills, 1 cigarette, 6 matches, a flint, a syringe, lip balm, a CVS receipt and a coupon.

Lansing now faces additional charges of drug possession and smuggling contraband into a jail.

What was he going to do with the receipt? turn it in for reimbursment?

And what was the coupon for? Half off on supositories?

Since he was going to jail, thus having a stigma, he wanted to be sure he could prove he did not steal the items.

The coupon was for a free 5 dollar footlong.

I'm guessing the coupon and receipt were just used to make a container/envelope for the pills and matches.

The receipt was from a all-you-can-hold-up-your-butt store in the mall. As he won't be able to pick up his car for a few years he was really hoping to get validated.

Still havn't seen it, and i pride myself on that.

I never understood, how someone knowing the content, and not wanting to see it would say " Well why not." and watch the thing.

Until they develop an " Unwatch" option on video sites, i will be continuing my avoidance of it.
