View Full Version : TAM9 forum grant program

TAM9 registration is open, so that means it's again time to open the forum grant program. The forum grant program takes donations from JREF and forum members and awards the money to worthy applicants to cover their registration fee for TAM9. It does not cover air fare, hotel, or other expenses.

If you would like to apply for a forum grant, please send me a PM with your full name and address. Also specify whether you are a member of the JREF (not just the forum) and whether you are a student. Finally, include a few sentences about yourself and why you think attending TAM9 is the best possible thing you can do.

If you can donate to the forum grant program, please consider a generous donation. I will soon add a post to this thread explaining how to donate. It should be easy by means of the usual JREF donation page.

Come to think of it, give preference to rich, single chicks. I don't want to work forever. And they should be young. That way they can still work while I'm retired.

The JREF has just established a simple method for making donations to the TAM forum grant program. Visit the JREF's usual donation page:

https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=jredufnd&id=1

There you will see a section for one-time donations. One of the items in the Gift Designation drop-down list is "TAM Forum Grant." Simply make your donation using that designation.

It would be helpful if you would PM me once you've made your donation. You do not have to include the amount should you want to keep it private.

We have 30 people on the forum grant request list, an unprecedented number for March 18. Please donate generously. And often.

Why would they need to work if they are rich? Unless you plan on spending them into poverty, that is.

Thanks to all those who have made generous donations to the grant program. We have awarded 27 grants so far!

Any TAM 10 grant options yet? My friend Tamazon and I will be roomies if one or both can get that boost to get us there. Tamazon is the priority for it though... I will stand in line behind please... is the line up long, with those who didn't get to go last year at the front, as it should be?
