The 2011 SkeptiCal Conference has been scheduled! It will be held at the Berkeley Doubletree on May 29, 2011. Tickets will be available for purchase Monday, March 21. Last year's conference sold out past capacity, so please buy your tickets as soon as possible to ensure a seat!
Speakers this year will include Dr. Eugenie Scott of the NCSE, Dr. Bob Carroll, creator of the Skeptic's Dictionary, Skeptologists Yau-Man Chan and Mark Edward, UC Santa Cruz Professor of Psychology Dr. Anthony Pratkanis, Pacific Institute President Dr. Peter Gleick, and many more!
This year we are offering two great options for our attendees: a t-shirt and an on-site lunch at the Doubletree. If you don't choose the on-site lunch, there are many great restaurants nearby.

I sat across the aisle from Genie Scott at Play Dead this past weekend in New York, and discussed the conference. Apparently she is one of the organizers.
I'm still considering. I may have some business changes right around that time, so I have to wait another week or two to see how (and if) they play out.

Genie, among her many roles as skeptical and science super hero is President of the Bay Area Skeptics. They along with the Sacramento Area Skeptics are co-organizing the Conference.

I'm in. I recommend on-site lunch. Berkeley is a gourmet ghetto, but this shindig is out on the marina; removed a bit from the city. Scrut, I will buy you pizza at Zachary's. You'll give serious consideration to relocating.

I cant wait, I went last year and it was really fun. Living within biking distance makes its even better. Yes, Berkeley has plenty great food options for every one...just stay away from Cafe Gratitude (biodynamics + happy, raw cult= ewww).

Life has conspired against me and it looks like I won't be able to make it. Assuming there will be a Skeptical III/12, I will make plans to attend. I would have only been able to stay about 3-4 days this time. Next year, I'll block off 8-10, and explore SF and Northern CA.

We just added Wendy Northcutt, creator of the Darwin Awards, to our already stellar list of speakers: http://www.skepticalcon.org/speakers
