Who comes up with these freaking names, and why haven't they been beaten.

Desert Storm - Not bad, but cutting it a little close.

Operation Iraqi Freedom - Can you say blatant (and pointless) propaganda.

Operation Secure Tomorrow - Now I'm getting nauseous.

What's next, Operation Namby-Pamby?

Operation "Transparent Supplication", where all Your phone calls, library books, shopping habits and banking records are open to the government without a search warrant. After all if You have nothing to hide why would'nt You?..Your not trying to HIDE anything are You?...Hmmm

Edit to add:
Damn sorry they already have that don't they. Patriot acts 1 and 2 .

Of course the names are propaganda. Part of it is to bolster troop morale.

How about "Operation Fling Poo", AKA election 2004

Then there was the U.S.A.P.A.T.R.I.O.T act.

See, it spells something! Wow, what are the chances that the name of a bill would end up spelling something like that?! It was like, destiny!
