TAM 9 "Live Million Dollar Challenge Event"

So once again this year we have another "Live Million Dollar Challenge Event" on the TAM Sunday evening schedule.

Any ideas or thoughts or suggestions on what this will or should be? Any rumors floating around?

Are we going to see a lot of cables up on stage? Is Anita going to be making an encore appearance?

Enquiring minds want to know.

Hard to tell what they'll do. I don't think they'll have Anita Ikonen again, although I have no doubt she'd be more than willing to get up in front of the crowd again.

I'm guessing that Banachek has combed through the MDC files and has found someone who lives in (or close) to Vegas. He's working on convincing that person to come in for some sort of demonstration like the Anita Ikonen demo last year. And like last year, it will probably be some half-baked exhibition that James Randi doesn't even deem worthy of attending.

I hope I'm wrong and they'll have a real challenge test like they did the year before with Connie Sonne. But, if I'm remembering correctly, that was touted ahead of time and not buried on Sunday evening after most people had left.

If it IS Ikonen, we'll know soon enough. She won't be able to hold her tongue for that long.

After watching the nut two years ago go down in flames, I didn't even bother attending last year. If it was anything like the first one, I'd rather watch paint dry. Or sit in the bar.

Yeah, but at least something was at stake two years ago. It was an actual preliminary for the MDC. Last year's MDC "event" (which is how it's being billed again) seemed pretty pointless.
