Turn it into days, and you will really have something to cry about. You've probably burned through 7000 days already.
Figure you get about 30,000 days on average (if you live to be 82 years old). Some people get bonus days. Some people get crushed by a bus.
How many days will you spend at the office?

I'm 19 as well, and I'm certainly not complaining. What other time in your life can you sit around and eat pizza and play video games all day in exchange for going to class two to three hours a day at your parents expense? We have it made.

Perhaps- I seem to remember that it converts to somewhere in the region of 27, nearly 28, in human years. :)

I've noticed that most people have voted for 30-39, but the people who have actually replied with their age are 20 or less.
Everybody else must be too embarassed. Either that, or they've forgotten exactly how old they are. Probably the latter- I'm starting to lose count myself...

I am as old as a dog, if said dog was as old as another dog was if it were the same age as Riddick's claim of age was, converted into dog years. Take the square root of this number, divide by one, then multiply it by itself. Add ten, multiply by 2, then subtract the square of 8, then add the square root of 4. Add Phi, then subtract 1 plus the reciprocal of Phi.
Subtract 30, and you'll have Riddick's true age!

Riddick claims: "I'm 42 freaking years old."
I'll assume we use the notional (age*7) is human years formula.
Though according to this web site's chart, weight enters into it.
http://www.uexplore.com/misc/dogyears.htm
That would be 6 "freaking" years old in dog living years.
42/7=6
Square root over one squared is a NOP.
6+10=16
16*2=32
Square root of 8 is 2 and change
31.change
Square root of 4 is 2
33.change
Phi-(1+(1/Phi)) = 0, another NOP
So, you're 33.change, and riddick's age is 3.change.
Unless you meant cubed-root of eight to get a round number. Then that's 32, and 2, respectively.
Oh, and don't forget, that's in "freaking years". The "freaking" was never properly cancelled out.

My guess is that Riddick is asking the physical age question so that he can make arguements from authority at that point: "well you're only 17 (or place an age younger than 42 here) so you don't know anything you punk. I'm 42."
Nevermind every person with a fairly reasonable way of thinking knows physical age has little do with maturity or overall intelligence.
Isn't it also funny that someone who claims to be 42 could also, by a very mild stretch, claim it's also the anwer to life, the universe, and everything?

Oops, no. I probably didn't explain very well.
Change your first line of solving to these two lines:
42/dogyears=6
6*dogyearsinreverse=42
or
42/7=6
6*7=42
Another NOP. ;)
And that's 8^2, not SQR(8).
Then multiply the result by freaking/freaking, then divide by its reciprocal, just for a few more NOPs.

I doubt that. His/her use of language and choice of avatar belies his/her true age. which I'm estimating is somewhere between 16 - 20. Could wrong though, could be younger.

A few years ago, I was interested in a woman many many eons younger than I. (She, however, wanted to be "just friends." Sad, but it turns out for the best, as I could never keep up with her energy level.) She made some comment about my age, and I asked "Just how old do you think I am?"
"Uh, twenty eight?"
"Twenty eight?!?" I exclaimed, truly in shock.
"Sorry sorry sorry!", she said. "Twenty six?"
"Er, yeah", I lied like a bearskin rug, "Twenty six. Next month." Yeah, I came out of the womb and immediately started studying algebra. And earned my HS diploma by the age of three.

You do realize what we have here is an almost textbook representation of a human age curve. As I recall, the same thing happened the last time this question was asked.

It's hard to get these polls on age to be useful. You have to select the correct spread between ages, and because of limited number of options (you forgot planet x!) you have to choose a range of ages that some forum members will exceed.
Frustrating stuff, to be sure.
Trying to be fancy mathematical and clever when defing my age has only caused head aches. Usually I end up with a non-real age, which I suppose is cool in a way, but I prefer the much more straightforward answer that I am approximately:
[(10^1.204119903)/2]^(dingo)
mars years old, where dingo equals the log of ten.

Not really. It's more of a play on the word "normal" I think. A sort of double-entendre.

I hate the thought of reading every freakin' nominated TLA whatever it's called. And I shan't vote for Spidey, nor Kelly, not RT, definitely not Dr A., I never liked Hutch, so that's not an option. I've never heard of GodMark2, but might have voted for GodMark1 if they wrote something nominated. David is a wise ass, so he is out. C4ts has a stupider name than I; hence off the list. As for Garrette, the insistence upon a non-conformist font leaves me with no other choice than to cross off that name. "Meg" has decided that "meg" is fine, I do not. She’s off the list. Who’s next?
Of course I was joking, and apologize to Thanz for no mention. Thanz, you used 5 more commas than neccesary, and are ineligable for my vote.
I actually took some time with this. reading and re-reading. My first inclination was to vote for David. I hate a shut out. Next was Garrette. Compassionate words from a kind man. I'd like to know you in the real world. Then KellyJ. She has moved this place, this world, into action that reflects the best of mankind. I'll never be the same. As for Dr. A and Thanz, you're use of language was extrordinary in placing into a context, while a bit offbeat, what is the essence of the ID arguement.
But I voted for Spidey13, and not because I nominated him. In fact, that was a point against him. I'd rather not have. I did so because what he wrote connected so much with my life. I've known the feelings that he expressed, and was cheering for him to get back to that place that he spoke of so eloquently. It may never happen, but I hope it does.
I apologize to those that I did not mention, C4ts, Hutch, Roadtoad, meg, and GodMark2, you were all worthy. Maybe next month.
:)
