G’day Mr Lancaster

I found your site, directly or indirectly, via The Skeptic’s Dictionary and have thoroughly enjoyed going through the whole thing. Although I had doubts about paranormal things as a youngster, my path to becoming a skeptic was along these lines (in order): Peter Brookesmith, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Robert Todd Carroll, Philip J Klaas and James Randi. With your permission I will add your name to my list of favourite skeptics.

Apart from giving me a great way to kill the quieter hours at work and allowing me to examine the research that has been done in various fields which I knew little or nothing about, I also noticed that a lot of the subjects that good skeptics detail come from a very morally concerned base.

I have had a healthy dislike of cold-reading frauds for a long time now, but didn’t know what an evil monster Sylvia Brown is until I found you. You seem to have approached your work in a fair and professional style.

Sir, I applaud you and will certainly keep my eyes open for anything from you that I might see in the future.

Congratulations on a great and worthy site Mr Lancaster.

I only share it here because it was a bright spot in an otherwise dim week for me.

Very cool, being added to a list like that! :)

Glad you post these positive ones too. Hope you'll post them even on a good week! It really is nice to be reminded that people like this are out there, too.

You wrote that very well, RSL!

{I am, of course, kidding}

Very cool indeed, but not all that deserved, in my eyes. Most of them have decades of contribution to the field,and several books. I have about five years and two web sites. But I will gladly ride on their tailcoats.
