Did anyone catch Kerry on that MTV "Choose or Lose " Special. It was pretty funny watching him trying to be hip. The daily show did a good spoof on it.
I do applaud candidates at least trying to connect with the young in's. WHy ignore a voter population??
The Repubs seem to be lacking in the youth wooing. Is it cause they feel its a lost market. Or do they feel its embarrassing to pander to the youth?

You sure you watched the whole Daily Show segment? They showed some clips of the GOP registration rig that is specifically targeting the youth. Here's a quote from USAtoday (http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/nation/2004-03-26-mtv-gop_x.htm):
Backed by about 100 young Republicans who arrived from as far afield as Miami, RNC chairman Ed Gillespie gave MTV's hip-hop correspondent Sway Calloway a tour of the 56-foot 18-wheeler, equipped with a sound stage, two Xbox game systems and several plasma screen televisions.
