A group of far-left kooks (http://october2011.org/welcome) is planning "a prolonged occupation of Washington DC" starting October 6, 2001 to protest against the war in Afghanistan and pending federal budget cuts. The group includes the usual suspects: Bill Moyer, Bob Fitrakis, Chris Hedges, Cynthia McKinney, David Lindorff, Howie Hawkins, Jane Hamsher, Larisa Alexandrovna, Medea Benjamin, Ray McGovern, Sibel Edmonds and Ted Rall.

Although they claim to be pacifists, one does not have to search deep on their website to find calls for violent insurrection (http://october2011.org/node/467):

Madame DeFarge would nod her head approvingly.

Of course, I don't expect them to do anything much more than give a bunch of speeches and shout slogans, but it should provide for some good comedy.

If the protests took place in October, 2001, then I would not worry about that since these protests occurred about 10 years ago.

But, if these protests are supposed to take place in October, 2011, then there may be something to worry about since that is just about two months away. However, I doubt that these protests will amount to very much, therefore one should not be too worried about them.

Yes. I do not believe any of them are threatening literal violence much less decapitation.

Occurrences as such are seeds of the revolution. What kind of life are you planting, if your intentions are bloody. Our intention is to peacefully occupy our land; it is the people's.
