A touching Christian tale of how an 8 year old kid was already marred beyond redemption when he was adopted by Mr. Perfect, grew up to be 'deceitful', and came out of the closet just to hurt his daddy, the founder of 'Operation Rescue' and a very, very anti-gay guy.

This article is his own words.

I can just hear the violin music playing.

The son's response...

I would like to see the 'Out' article myself. The Guardian article was just too brief. This whole thing is just too ironic.

Thanks for posting this.

You know, this is just sad. I hope that the two can one day reconcile. One thing that Jamiel Terry said in the 'Out' article that popped out to me: "My father would rarely say something derogatory about gays around my mom or my sisters, but he would around our male friends and to me. I guess it was the usual stuff you hear, but it hurt me sometimes, and I would ask him not to say those things; I felt that for Christians, it’s not right to mock people, even in their sin. My father knew I was right, and he would apologize. One thing about my father: We kids could certainly tell him what we thought, and we usually wouldn’t get in trouble."

All Christians would do well to remember this. Also, I've often thought it strange that some Christians engage in anti-(insert issue here) activities. Scripture doesn't seem to support this sort of thing.
