New truther over on the IMDB U93 board - goes by "IThinkImMe". In the middle of an exchange over the U93 phone calls, he makes this statement:

"Also, in one of the movies there is a brief shot of a radar track on flight 175. The coordinates on the screen point to it heading towards Groom Lake, NV (AKA Area 51). As I am at work and do not have the movies in front of me, I cannot tell you which. But I will update this thread when I get home."

My Reply:

"So your assertion, if I get this right, is that because you think you saw, on either the movie United 93, or Flight 93, you're not quite sure which, a radar track of Flight 175 which showed it in the vicinity of Groom Lake, NV....therefore....this proves the drone theory?

FLight 175 was hijacked in the vicinity of Albany NY.....this is 2,500 miles from Groom Lake, NV. Mind explaining how a Boeing 767 traveled at "warp speed" from Albany NY to Groom Lake, NV?"

His Reply:

"You debunkers are all the same. Taking things COMPLETELY out of context. I never said the plane was actually IN Groom Lake, but, according to the coords, it was HEADED there. Planes follow flight paths. And no commercial plane is allowed in restricted airspace. So why would it be flying there? If its intended airport was LAX, it would take a route close to Reno then down to LA.

My Reply:

"Soooo....now the goalposts move....and you say you saw the entire flight plan for United 175 on some radar controller's scope? Huh?

Air Route Traffic Controllers watch a certain airspace, they do not track Boston-LAX bound airliners across the country.

You must have been mistaken in what you thought you saw. "

"Once again, out of context. The short shot, about 2-3 seconds only shows a HEADING. Not the entire flight plan.

"So, now the story is....you saw Flight 175's heading on some radar controller's scope on some movie, a heading which purportedly was "in the direction" of Groom Lake, NV, correct?

FLight 175, from Boston to LAX, got as far west as Northern NJ, before turning back to New York City."

He does realize that this was a hollywood produced movie, does he not? I mean there are always a number of whoopsies in any number of hollywood movies. Seriously, is he taking this as actual footage of the days events?

Hmm, I am pretty sure that when on a plane heading out of Yellowknife, N.W.T. on our way to Edmonton, that it was 'heading' towards Groom Lake. Might even have been closer to it than any of the 9/11 aircraft.

If you fly from either Sacramento or Reno to either Las Vegas or Phoenix you will actually almost go straight over Groom Lake. You can even look down and see the runway layout and everything.

I think in the mind of a twoofer, 'west' could very well be a precise enough direction to ascertain that a plane is going to Area 51 :D

Yeah, but this was a Hollywood movie supporting the official story. Someone obviously goofed and put in a shot with the real flight path of the plane. ;)

But seriously, even rational people misinterpret what they see in movies and on TV. When I first saw the movie of Catch 22, I thought I actually saw Snowden's guts spilling out of his torso, but when I saw the film again on video, all I saw was what looked like a bunch of bloody rags stuffed into a hole in his uniform.
