That's right, boys and girls, Nancy Pelosi chewed out McDermott for leaving out the "under God" affirmation of religious faith in the Pledge, despite the court rulings and the clear statement in the US Constitution!

No wonder the Dummycraps are in such a mess, to kowtow to the American Right instead of the Constitution!

As much as I think McDermott is a bit of a loose cannon, sliding back and forth across the deck with a lit fuse, I think he ought to take this one and run with it.

It's time for the Democrats to get some spine, and go after the Radical Right once and for all, and show them for the totalitarian, religious Taliban-like nutcases that they are.

McDermott's regret
A spokesman for Rep. Jim McDermott said yesterday that the Washington Democrat thinks he made a mistake in omitting the words "under God" as he led the House in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance on Tuesday.

I really hope that Nancy Pelosi get reprimanded for this via the people in the DSA, like me, revoking her membership.

This type of behavior is unexcusable.

Jim McDermott made the stand that was needed in order to sent a message to the religious right that we will not stand its B*!

What makes it even worse is that it makes Nancy Pelosi a complete hypocrite to the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) platform.

In Australia, gutless Labor party leaders have been booted out and a straight talker, Mark Latham, has been made leader.

The results? He says a lot more, there are perhaps some embarrasing things coming out of his mouth, but the results are in from the polls, the people like it. Labor has increased it's popularity hugely.

I believe Pelosi was also one of those who laughed at the jokes Bush made about not being able to find WMD's, and then when people started to complain that they were offended, she decided that she too was offended. She explained that she just laughed out of "courtesy" or some such. Man I feel sorry for the poor suckers that she "represents".

If you really want to punish her, instead of revoking her membership, you should run TV ads in her home state just before her next reelection stating that she is a proud socialist and lifetime member of the Democratic Socialists of America.

That's the kiss of death for any candidate...
